Hey there! So you're looking to dive into Eternals in Legends of Runeterra? Awesome! Think of these as your personal trophy case for your favorite champions. They're a premium system designed to proudly show off your accomplishments on the Rift. What are Eternals? In the lore of Runeterra, Eternals are like echoes of ancient, forgotten deities. They're physical tributes that preserve history and shine down on the world. How They Work: The Basics Each Eternal tracks a specific lifetime statistic for a champion. You can get these in sets of three. There are two main types: * Common Sets: These track more general feats like Takedowns, Objectives Destroyed, and Epic Monsters Killed. Good for showing off solid all-around play. * Unique Sets: These are champion-specific. They track things like how many times you've landed a specific ability on enemy champions. Really lets you show off your mastery of a particular champion's kit. Showing Off Your Skills Eternals aren't just for your eyes only! They're visible during gameplay. You can even choose any three to display on a special card during the Loading Screen, in the in-game stats menu, and even on your enemy's death screen when they fall to you. Pretty cool, right? Milestones and Prestige As you hit certain numbers on an Eternal's tracked stat, you'll hit milestones. Hit all five milestones for an Eternal, and it can be 'rekindled' into a prestige milestone. This lets you record your Personal Best within a match, as long as it's above a certain threshold. Also, completing any 3 Eternals will upgrade your Champion Mastery emote once. It's a nice little visual flair to show off your dedication. Unlocking and Buying Eternals Eternals are unlocked on a per-champion basis. You can even get them for champions you don't own yet! * Common Sets: These cost 225 RP or 2500 BE per champion. You can also grab a bundle for all existing and upcoming champions for 1350 RP or 14750 BE. * Unique Sets: These are a bit pricier at 600 RP per champion. The bundle for all champions is 5850 RP. Types of Eternals Eternals are also categorized by 'types' that often align with champion classes. Think of these as cosmetic categories, like 'Warden' for crowd control feats, which come with their own statue and visual effects. The types you'll see are Empress, Guide, Protector, Trickster, Warden, and Warrior. A Note on Renata Glasc Just a fun fact: Renata Glasc is the only champion who has every single individual Eternal across Series 1 and Series 2. Pretty unique! So, that's the lowdown on Eternals!
