Stage 3

At the start, grab the Spark ability from a Spark enemy.

Hit the bomb block to reveal and enter the door.

Follow the path, optionally grabbing the Spark ability again. You can take either the left path (more stars) or the right path (easier).

Continue to the next door, but do not enter it yet. Press down to drop and collect the first Energy Sphere.

Go back up and enter the door you previously ignored.

Proceed through the area, being cautious of moving pillars that rise and fall.

Inhale a stone block and use it to break other blocks for food and stars, if desired.

Hit the switch at the end of this section and go through the door.

Grab the beam ability. Use it to hit bomb blocks and drop cannons as you progress.

You will reach a locked gate. Go right from the gate to find the key.

Return to the gate and use the key to unlock it, revealing the second Energy Sphere.

Head back along the path and enter the door at its end.

Beware of spikes as you proceed.

After hitting a switch, RUN LIKE CRAZY to reach the end before the enemy carrying the key.

Defeat this enemy, take the key, and bring it to the gate to obtain your last Energy Sphere.

Proceed to the exit.
