Stage 2

From the start, climb the ladder and continue forward. You can obtain the Leaf ability from the small plant enemies if desired. Reach the end and jump on the Warp Star to progress.

To the left, you can collect stars. To the right, the Cutter ability is available. When you reach the platforms suspended by ropes, use the Cutter ability or any sharp ability to cut the ropes. One of these actions will yield a blue star. Enter the door at the end of this section.

Descend the steps and grab the shiny red cannon. Proceed forward and hit the switch to activate a bridge. Continue running until you encounter a ceiling made of metal blocks. Use the cannon to hit this ceiling and obtain an Energy Sphere. Then, proceed to the right towards the next door.

If you wish, grab the Needle ability, which is quite useful in this area, and move up the tree. You can drop the Needle ability to acquire the Beam ability from the one-eyed enemy. Continue upwards. At the highest point, go to the upper-right to find an Energy Sphere within the tree, then exit this area.

Choose your preferred weapon (Beam is recommended) and advance. Battle Gigant Edge. After defeating him, swallow him to gain the Sword ability. Jump onto the small platform and use the Sword ability to slice the rope through the wall. Proceed upwards to collect the final Energy Sphere, then go through the door at the end.
