Where to Find All Runes in Hopalloo Island: Locations

Hey there! Ready to hunt down some Runes on Hopalloo Island? These shiny collectibles are super important for unlocking new levels, so let's make sure you grab every single one. Don't worry, they're not too tricky to find if you know where to look. I'll walk you through each one!

1. Rune #1 Location: Right near the start! After you finish up at Walt's Dojo, you'll find yourself just outside the entrance. Chat with Walt if you like, he'll even point out some Rune spots. If you stand by him and look straight ahead, you'll see the first Rune sitting at the bottom of the stairs, totally out in the open. Easy peasy!
2. Rune #2 Location: Keep an eye out for a long bridge with paint on it – it's heading towards the windmill. Cross that bridge and head uphill. You'll pass a building that has a Scroll and a Crystal inside, but keep going past it. At the very end of the walkway up there, you'll find Rune #2.
3. Rune #3 Location: After snagging Rune #2, you can hop down to the beach below. Look for a small fisherman's hut. The Rune is chilling right there on the dock, out in the open.
4. Rune #4 Location: This one's right in front of the entrance to The Dark Forest. Head back to where Walt was, then take the stairs that are opposite him. Follow the path up a small incline – you'll see a couple of guards there. The entrance to The Dark Forest is right in front of you, and so is Rune #4!
5. Rune #5 Location: You won't be able to grab this Rune until you've finished The Dark Forest level. Once you're done with that, you'll pop out right next to Terror's Lair. A Rune will be sitting right in front of it, so it's pretty hard to miss if you're paying attention. If you somehow miss it then, Terror's Lair is behind the main building on the island, near some outdoor tables. You'll need to jump up to a ledge from a stump and then climb some wall ledges to get to the entrance.
6. Rune #6 Location: This last Rune is only available after you've defeated Terror, the game's first boss. Once he's down for the count, head back to your house – that's the big building on the beach – and look behind it. You'll find Rune #6 waiting for you there.
