Starting Stats: 1 Red Heart container, 3 coins, The Book of Belial, 1.35x damage multiplier.

Key Item: The Book of Belial is crucial for its damage boost and for guaranteeing a Devil or Angel Room spawn after defeating a boss (in Rebirth). In later versions, it increases the chance by 12.5%.

Health Management: Due to Judas's low starting health, health upgrades are essential. Devil Deals can be risky.

Item Synergies: Items that activate on low health, like Scapular or Whore of Babylon, are easily triggered. Dead Cat is also a good early pickup as it has minimal downside for Judas.

Black Judas: If a character dies with Judas' Shadow, they respawn as Black Judas, with 2 Black Hearts, a 2x damage multiplier, and 1.1 base speed. Black Judas has the highest damage multiplier of all playable characters. Note that Black Judas's ability to gain Red Heart containers differs between game versions.

Birthright (Repentance+): With Birthright, The Book of Belial becomes a passive item, with its damage boost scaling with the charges of the active item above it. This interaction has specific conditions and may not work with all item types.
