Challenges are optional objectives presented during a run that, when completed, offer valuable rewards such as extra Goo, Amber, or powerful relics. They encourage you to adapt your playstyle and take calculated risks. There are several achievements related to completing challenges:

• You Call This a Challenge?: Beat 4 challenges in a run.
• Lucky Number Seven: Beat 7 challenges in a run.
• Challenge Champ: Complete 30 challenges over your lifetime.

Challenges can range from killing a certain number of enemies with a specific weapon type, clearing a wave within a time limit, or surviving without taking damage. Always assess the feasibility of a challenge based on your current Jumper build and the wave's difficulty. Successfully completing challenges can provide a significant advantage, especially in the early to mid-game.
