Bridge to Helheim (Gjallarbrú) - ᛁᚾ

Approach the door to Helheim and press the button to trigger a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) with poetry from your shadow stalker.

After the cutscene, you will be on the Gjöll Bridge. Prepare for your first fight, facing a total of 6 enemies: first a single Swordsman, then another Swordsman and a Mace enemy, followed by two more Swordsmen, and finally a Shield enemy.

Once all enemies are defeated, make your way to the end of the bridge and press the button to open the door.

Immediately after, you will face your second combat encounter against a new enemy: a large warrior wielding a two-handed axe.

Warning: You will be knocked to the ground at the start of this fight; mash the face buttons to roll away from his ground attack.

While injured and moving slowly, you can use your focus to heal or evade attacks until Senua recovers. Double evades are not available when Senua's health is low.

Evade the Axe Brute's attacks and counter with combos, starting with light attacks. Avoid finishing combos with light attacks as it leaves you vulnerable.

After defeating the Axe Brute, a Swordsman and a Mace enemy will spawn, followed by another Swordsman and Mace enemy, and finally a Shield enemy, leaving you facing up to 3 enemies at once. This is the toughest fight so far.

After the fight, exit through the door opposite the one you entered, marked by a burning brazier.

In the next room, you will find a locked door on the left and an open door on the right. Activate the Rune Puzzle on the door in front of you first.

Proceed through the open door on the right and find Lorestone extit{1/2} on your left.

Continue down wooden stairs onto a wrecked ship hull. Turn right and head towards the front of the wreck. Look back at the building where you fought the Axe Brute. Align the hovering fragments to form a wooden staircase, then use focus to make it real.

Return to the room where you created the staircase. Near the door you came through, look towards the Rune Door and then up to see a red hanging object. Align this object to form an 'X' to unlock the first Rune.

Head up the stairs to the upper floor. Turn right, follow the hall to the end, and turn right again. Look right, through a gap between pillars, to see the red shape form an 'S' for the second Rune.

Continue along the path until it turns right. Climb the ladder straight ahead (up). Turn back and align the same red object with another red hanging object behind it to form the last rune.
