Allied NPCs

Learn to utilize allied NPCs in Halo 3: Marines, ODSTs, the Arbiter, and Elites for tactical advantage in combat.

Throughout the campaign, you'll fight alongside various allied NPCs, including UNSC Marines, ODSTs, and the Arbiter's Elites. These allies provide valuable support, drawing enemy fire and adding to your overall firepower. While they aren't invincible, keeping them alive can significantly ease difficult encounters. Provide them with better weapons when possible, and use them as distractions while you flank enemies. The Arbiter, in particular, is a formidable ally whose active camouflage and energy sword can turn the tide of battle.

• UNSC Marines: Standard infantry, effective with human weapons. Can be given better weapons.
• ODSTs (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers): Elite human soldiers, often equipped with heavier weapons.
• The Arbiter: Elite warrior, wields an Energy Sword and uses Active Camouflage. A powerful and reliable ally.
• Elites: The Arbiter's forces, equipped with plasma weapons and energy shields.
• Warthog Gunners: Marines or Elites who can operate the Warthog's turret, providing mobile firepower.
