White Dye House

This is likely the first one you'll stumble upon. Head to the northwestern part of the Yotei Grasslands. Look for the text "Yotei River" on your map and then just head northwest from there. The proprietress is usually hanging out right outside, so just chat with her to check out her inventory.

Green Dye House

You'll find this one in the Tokachi Range. Follow the Nupur River heading northeast. Keep going until it forks near Huranui’s Rest Inn, then take the Nikappu River northeast. You should spot the dye house sitting on a hill southeast of the river. That green cloth hanging out should be a dead giveaway from the river. Again, just talk to the merchant inside to access her goods.

Black Dye House

This dye house is located along the western edge of its region. Start at the Red Crane Inn and follow the Teshio River northwest, then keep going west until you hit a bridge that crosses a frozen river. The dye house itself is south of that river. Look for the dye merchant; she's usually outside a smaller building southwest of the main one. Heads up, her stock is pretty limited until you finish the main quest The Way of the Shamisen, which is part of The Kitsune questline.

Crimson Dye Beach

This one's a bit different – it's not exactly a 'dye house' but more of a dye beach! You'll find it on the western coast of the Ishikari Plain. You'll see crimson textiles spread out and drying, plus some red dye puddles. The catch? No merchant! To get her to show up, you need to light a fire on the beach (yep, that means doing the fire-stoking minigame). Once she appears, you can buy her wares. Good news is, after you summon her once, she'll be there for you every time you visit.

Blue Dye House

Make your way to the southwestern part of Oshima Coast and find the Otsuki River. Follow this river south, and you'll find the Blue Dye House just north of the river. The merchant is usually right outside, busy with her textiles.
