Rival challenges, known as Star Showdowns, offer chances to win signature cars and cash.

Race Events: To advance, players must complete Festival Events and Showcase races to increase their popularity. Winning races leads to wristband awards, unlocking more events. Completing Sponsor Challenges rewards players with bonus credits, while PR Stunts offer discounts on fast travel.
