Golden Freddy is a mysterious animatronic in Five Nights at Freddy's 4. It appears randomly as an empty yellow Freddy suit in the office. It does not appear often, but you should remain vigilant in case it visits you.

Golden Freddy's mechanics are extremely simple. Every time you view Camera 2B (the West Hall Corner), there is a 0.001% chance that the Freddy poster on the wall will be replaced with a picture of Golden Freddy. You will know you have caught a glimpse of it when you hear a childlike laugh. At that point, the next time you lower your camera, Golden Freddy will be sitting in your office. Fending him off is as simple as raising your camera again; do that, and he is gone for the rest of the night.

Warning: If you do not raise your camera after Golden Freddy appears, after five seconds he will trigger a unique jumpscare that crashes the game.
