Foxy the Pirate Fox

Foxy the Pirate Fox is a unique enemy in Five Nights at Freddy's 4. Unlike other animatronics, he doesn't roam the restaurant but instead moves from his spot in Pirate Cove. Once fully out of Pirate Cove, he will rush the office.

Foxy's Phases:

1. Phase 1: Foxy is completely behind the curtain in Pirate Cove.
2. Phase 2: Foxy is peeking out from behind the curtain.
3. Phase 3: Foxy is completely off his stage and preparing to rush the office.
4. Phase 4: Foxy is gone from Pirate Cove and is en route to the player's office.

Foxy begins each night in Phase 1. He advances to the next phase with each successful movement chance. Upon reaching Phase 4, Foxy will attack the player's office through the left door within approximately 25 seconds. This attack occurs regardless of whether the monitor is up or down. If Foxy is in Phase 4 and the player views camera 2A (West Hall), Foxy will be seen sprinting down the hall and will attack immediately.

If Foxy reaches the left door, closing it will prevent an immediate attack but will drain power. The power drain starts at 1% for the first visit and increases by 5% for each subsequent visit (6%, 11%, etc.).

Strategy:

• Foxy's movement is halted while the cameras are active. Watching any camera will prevent him from advancing phases.
• The effect of camera-watching persists for a variable duration after lowering the monitor, ranging from 0.83 to 16.67 seconds.
• Frequent and quick checks of the cameras are recommended to keep Foxy in place for longer periods and minimize his opportunities to advance phases.
• If Foxy reaches the left door, close it to prevent an attack, but be aware of the power drain.

If Foxy is stopped by the left door, he returns to Pirate Cove. There is a 50% chance he will return to Phase 1 or jump directly to Phase 2.
