As your mess-making progresses, the owner might enter a 'Targeted Repair' phase, where they focus on repairing or replacing broken items, particularly those contributing heavily to 'Financial Damage'. This is more dangerous as it can permanently reduce your score. When the owner is in this phase, your best strategy is distraction. Create an even more egregious mess in a completely different room, ideally one far from the item they are trying to fix. For example, if they are trying to fix a broken vase in the Living Room, go to the Kitchen and spill all the flour and sugar. This will often draw their attention away, giving you a window to either continue your destruction or even re-mess the area they just cleaned. Timing is crucial here.
