Follow this Doom Eternal Cultist Base walkthrough to find the Ice Bomb, Sentinel Battery, Gargoyl Toy, and Cultist Key.
Walkthrough
- 1Back on your ship, follow the instructions and view the Tutorial on using Sentinel Batteries to restore power and complete access to your ship.
- 2Insert the Battery and follow the path to your next objective: The Ice Bomb.
- 3Head downward, towards the bottom of the ship.
- 4Take the elevator down and activate the console that says RIPATORIUM.
- 5Step into the light. Another elevator descends and you’ll be in: The Demon Prison.
- 6Here you can fight Demons for practice, without dying. The prison will only contain enemies you’ve discovered so far via the campaign. For this first visit, you’ll only see Soldiers and Imps. Kill them all and exit the portal.
- 7Now you’ll be able to active your first suit perk. Follow the tutorial.
- 8Now head back upstairs and activate the portal.
- 9Press X to get started and you’ll immediately notice this is a snowy type terrain.
- 10From where you start, turn right and behind the pillar is a Codex entry.
- 11Move forward and you’ll get the Tutorial for Challenges, which are completely optional.
- 12Approach the cliff edge. You will need to drop down and either grab the climbable wall on the left, or directly dash into the entrance on the right.
- 13Once you enter, you’ll be faced with a handful of Gargoyls. After they’re dead, follow the large skeletal spine and collect the shield shards as you go.
- 14You will see a blue column of light on the right. Double jump and dash into it, you will be blasted up to a climbable wall.
- 15On the wall, head right to see another climbable wall with some red glowing areas on it. You will need to jump dash over to this wall and avoid those areas as they will damage you. Climb up to the top.
- 16At the top, turn around and if you look at the right wall you can just see the floating giant skull peaking out. Jump dash over to it and get the Secret Area with: The Gargoyl Toy.
- 17Turn around again and face just left of the wall you jumped from. There’s a ledge with a breakable wall. Jump/dash over there, smash the wall and you’ll be back up top.
- 18Smash the glowing green wall and enter a small war-zone. You’ll face some Soldiers, Zombies, Gargoyls and 2 Revenants here. There are some red coloured “mines” that can be destroyed like the explosive barrels.
- 19Once everything’s dead, head to the far right at the end of the bridge and look down. Underneath the goofy looking creature face is a 1-Up.
- 20Also, from the area where you dropped down to enter, to the right is a ledge where you can jump/dash to. You will see a cracked grate up there. Smash it.
- 21In this Secret Area, smash the green Melee symbol which releases a gate back on the other side. Jump across, enter the small opening to the right of the blue light column and head left. (On the right in here you can see the area with the 1-Up.)
- 22Follow the light column up and you will grab a Sentinel Battery.
- 23Drop back down and head into the archway and a yellow energy bridge will extend for you. Follow it.
- 24Inside will be some new Soldier type enemies who will carry guns and flamethrowers. Destroy them and the other fodder.
- 25Head right. Climb up the boxes and look towards the opposite side. Jump up on this ledge for some ammo and shields.
- 26Activate the device in the north chamber, the door behind you will be sealed and the hallways to the left and right will spawn with more of the new Soldier enemies. Kill them and a Hell Knight will appear.
- 27After they’re all dead, collect all the ammo and health and armor drops. Head to the left of the now gated off area and right at the end. You will now be back in the area where you climbed the boxes.
- 28Enemies appear from the opposite side. If you shoot the green glowing diamond shaped button, some blades will swing out and take out any enemies standing beneath.
- 29Enter the green column and a tutorial for a new enemy: The Mancubus will begin. As you saw in the tutorial, the weak point is their arm cannons, but they still take a lot of damage to disarm. However, they’re still going to pass under those blades, so shoot the button again and destroy them.
- 30Some Imps will appear behind you and the hallways are free to travel. Lure the Mancubus (2 more will appear) into the path of the blades, or just destroy them.
- 31The door on the right with green markings, behind the button is now open. Enter and get: Suit Perk.
- 32Now turn left. Grab the ammo if you need it and what you need to do here is to shoot the button which will open the stutters. You will need to jump/dash underneath the button to a climbable wall on the other side. Climb up.
- 33Here you will need to kill several Soldiers of different varieties and an Arachnotron.
- 34Once they’re dead, a blue column will appear. Before using it, to its right will be another green button. Once again, the goal is to shoot it, dash jump under it and climb the wall.
- 35In this Secret Area, you’ll see to the left a 1-Up. Jump & dash over to get it.
- 36The doors that were previously closed to you are now open. Head straight through and back to where you got your Suit Perk.
- 37Once again, shoot the button and climb the wall on the other side. At the top of the blue column, there’s a box moving back & forth across a pit of lava. Wait until the box is near you and jump/swing on it to get on top of the box.
- 38Once you get to the other side, jump over and grab the Cultist Key.
- 39The gate will open, and you will see a Hell Knight fighting some Soldiers. Wait it out and eventually they will kill each other, so you can deal with the survivors.
- 40Shoot them from a distance and they will walk into the area where you can use the button and blades to kill them.
- 41A Revenant will also join in from the far end. Drop down and more Soldiers and Imps will join. Kill them all and head to the opposite side and through the gated door with the Cultist.
