    From Samael’s prison in the Scalding Gallow, use the shadow flight geysers to ascend.

    Follow the street right to a small building containing a Vulgrim Location.

    Inside, open a Blue Soul Chest and climb nearby demonic growth for a chest with a Wrath Shard.

    Return to the road. To the right of the Blue Soul Chest near Samael's Prison, find a ruined wall. Use Shadow Flight to glide down to a hidden path below.

    Follow this path to find another piece of the Abyssal Armour Set [2/10]. Use the nearby shadow flight geyser to return to the road.

    Head left across a gap from the ramp to Samael’s prison, kill the Fire Golem and Zombies.

    Float across the next gap and into the crystal-littered tunnel. Enter the door on the left at the far end.

    Cruise down the ramp. Before using the shadow flight geyser, look in the lava to the right for a Blue Soul Chest. Collect it.

    Return and fly up to the next area using the demon growth to traverse the pit. Drop down to the other platform and float across the gap.

    Use shadowflight to cross the gaps ahead. Once in the cave, look down to the right for a Blue Soul Chest.

    Use shadow flight geysers to cross the next lava pit, then use handholds to climb the wall at the end of the passage. Exit into The Choking Grounds.

    In The Choking Grounds, head straight to the small building ahead to activate another Vulgrim Location.

    North of Vulgrim, find stairs leading down into a building containing an Artefact: Soldier.

    South of Vulgrim, pull the central tomb back to reveal a hidden staircase. Fight the enemies inside to find another Artefact: Soldier.

    Near the three large tombs, find stairs leading down to a Blue Soul Chest.

    In the north-western section of the map, find a Gatekeeper. Enter the door to his left to find Zombies and Skeletal warriors guarding a Blue Soul Chest.

    Use the Shadow Flight Geyser inside to reach a higher level. Kill the Fire Golem and Zombies, then loot the chest for a Wrath Shard. Note the red crystals and return to the street.

    Approach the Gatekeeper and use the Earthcaller to initiate a chat and enter the shadow realm.

    In the shadow realm, find the four shadow flight geysers marked by orange light pillars. Step on each platform to enter a shadow arena challenge.

    After completing each challenge, destroy the demonic seal to exit. Each arena contains a Green Soul Chest and Yellow Soul Chest.

Shadow Challenge Arena 1:

  1. Challenge: Defeat 5 enemies using aerial combos.
  2. Strategy: Attack enemies on the ground a few times, then launch them and perform aerial combos to finish them off quickly.

Shadow Challenge Arena 2:

  1. Challenge: Kill 50 enemies before your health is depleted.
  2. Strategy: Fight normally, using the green chests around the room to replenish health. Enemies include Zombies, Minions, Demonic Soldiers, and a Blue Dragon.

Shadow Challenge Arena 3:

  1. Challenge: Kill 30 enemies using instant kill attacks within the time limit.

  • Destroying all gravestones in the fenced area around Vulgrim in The Choking Grounds spawns a chest containing a Life Stone Shard.
  • In The Choking Grounds, tombs to the north and south of Vulgrim contain Artefacts.
