Depths

Explore Code Vein's Depths, special dungeons offering rare rewards. Includes walkthroughs for Den of Darkness, Den of the Dead, and Town of Sacrifice.

Den Of Darkness Walkthrough:

1. Activate the mistle upon arrival to map the area.
2. Follow the path west to find three items in a corner: chemical lights and an item that permanently grants a gift on use.
3. Continue along the path, defeating enemies, until you reach a fork.
4. Take the northeast path first to a dead end with two enemies (one large) and a key. This key is needed for the depths boss.
5. After picking up items, proceed down the other path, defeating enemies and collecting a chest and an item.
6. Head north to a corrupted mistle; activate it to map the area and the large room ahead.
7. In the large room, defeat a sub-boss (similar to shield-using enemies) and two normal enemies.
8. Pick up any remaining items in the room.
9. Return to the first mistle and head north.
10. At the next fork, the west path leads to a small room with an item. You will be ambushed (an invasion) by spawning enemies here.
11. Warning: To handle the ambush, fight your way past the enemies and run back to the path near the first mistle, avoiding entering the room. Fight the enemies in the narrow tunnel between the ambush start and the mistle, allowing you to defeat them in a single line and retreat to avoid multiple angles of attack. Having an ally makes this fight easier.
12. Once all enemies are defeated, return to the room and pick up the item.
13. Advance down the northeast path, defeating enemies in a small area and collecting items, including a key on a revenant corpse, a camera in a car, and peculiar materials near a lost.
14. Proceed northeast to a corrupted mistle; purify it to fully map the area.
15. Enter the next room for another mini-boss: a large hooded enemy.
16. Return to the first mistle room and use the key to enter the boss room. The boss is a carbon copy of Oliver Collins.
17. The Peculiar materials can be taken back to Shang to complete his side quest.

Den of the Dead Walkthrough:

1. Activate the mistle and follow the path west.
2. At the staircase, defeat enemies and pick up a key.
3. Continue west to a small room, defeat enemies, and collect items, including a weapon in a chest and a gift-granting item.
4. Proceed south to purify a corrupted mistle and fight a sub-boss consisting of three normal enemies.
5. Return to the starting mistle.
6. Follow the path south, defeating enemies and picking up items. Ignore the path leading to a dead end with a red glowing item for now.
7. Go all the way south to a corrupted mistle, purify it, and fight a sub-boss of two large enemies.
8. Pick up the key at the far end of the boss room.
9. Go to the red glowing item for an invasion ambush.
10. Warning: To handle the ambush, fight your way through the enemies until you reach the mistle room, where they cannot enter. Use this opportunity to pick them off. Employ hit-and-run tactics to end the ambush quickly.
11. Pick up glowing red items from which you can hear whispers; these are Vestiges.
12. Return to the starting mistle room and use the key to enter the boss room. The boss is another Oliver Collins clone.

Depths: Town of Sacrifice Walkthrough:

1. Activate the Mistle upon arrival.
2. Take the western path.
3. In an open space, defeat two dog-like enemies and pick up two items, one of which grants a permanent gift.
4. Move further in to fight a large fat enemy with a hammer; defeating it drops the Town of Sacrifice Key 1.
5. Go up the stairs and defeat two enemies.
6. Continue down the cavern until you reach a corrupted mistle; purify it.
7. Ahead, battle a sub-boss: one large fat enemy and three dogs. Killing the boss instantly defeats the others, but be wary of the dogs inflicting stun.
8. Return to the first mistle.
9. Take the southern path.
10. In a small room, defeat three or four enemies.
11. At a fork, take the western path to a chest.
12. Proceed through a small cave with a corrupted mistle; activate it.
13. Defeat the sub-boss: two gunmen.
14. Go to the other part of the southern area, defeat enemies, and collect items, including a key.
15. You will find an invasion spot with annoying acrobat enemies. Bringing an ally is suggested. If you can make it, use the strategy of returning to the mistle to pick off enemies.
16. Return to the first mistle and take the last path.
17. Take the first right turn to get an item.
18. Return to the fork and go east, defeating enemies.
