The author has played through the game multiple times, experimenting with various builds. These builds are presented as concepts and can be adapted to individual playstyles, emphasizing the effectiveness of light gifts and the potential to solo the game with specific end-game gear.

WARNING: As of Version 1.20, the 'Final Journey' buff has been significantly altered. It now lasts for a much shorter duration (30 seconds to 1 minute) and only increases movement speed by one stage (e.g., slow to normal). Other builds may also have been affected by gift nerfs or buffs. Additionally, all barrage gifts (light gifts with rapid elemental damage) have been nerfed, resulting in fewer projectiles, less stagger, and reduced damage, making builds heavily reliant on them less effective. Some Queen Blood Code gifts have seen an increase in raw power, though specifics are not detailed.

Build 1: Silver Wolf King build (NG+ onwards only)

This build focuses on using light gifts to significantly buff your character, enabling rapid damage output for both boss fights and exploration. It's effective enough for most dungeons and even invasions.

Required Gear:

• Noble Silver Fortification +10 (Blood Veil with the highest light gift stat)
• Argent Wolf King's Blade Fortification +10 (Obtainable after the final boss, hence NG+ focus)
• Queenslayer Blood Code (Obtained after completing the Memories of Player dungeon)

The Argent Wolf King's Blade is a powerful weapon with a fast strong attack that excels at staggering enemies, including some bosses, with repeated use.

Required Gifts:

• Active: Iron Will (Berserker), Royal Heart (Berserker), Adrenaline (Fighter), Blood Sacrifice (Hunter), Overdrive (Assassin), Bridge to Glory (Eos), Final Journey (Queenslayer). Ice Spike is recommended for long-range or hard-to-reach enemies as a flexible slot.
• Passive: Two-Handed Sword Mastery (Atlas), Swift Destruction (Hephaestus), any stat-boosting passive that increases Mind (including those affecting Mind and another stat), and ideally a Strength-related boost or Tirelessness.

Build Concept:

The core of this build is raw power, designed to overwhelm enemies. The Argent Wolf King's Blade's strong attack, combined with its energy wave, becomes devastating with active buffs. While powerful, players must remain aware of enemy movements and dodge when necessary.

Buff Activation and Ichor Management:

Buffs require ichor. Use Blood Sacrifice to convert health into ichor, then utilize regeneration gifts to heal. Activate all buffs sequentially, replenishing ichor as needed. 'Final Journey' significantly boosts damage and survivability, but its short duration makes it ideal for NG+ where the map is known, preventing wasted time. 'Final Journey' also enables 'Swift Destruction' by increasing mobility to 'quick'.

Effectiveness:

This build excels at quickly clearing dungeons and demolishing groups of enemies due to the strong attack's stagger potential and wide area of effect. It's also effective for invasions. For bosses, learn their patterns, exploit openings, and utilize the strong attack while buffs are active. The build can stagger and down many bosses. A Mistle Root in the quick menu is advisable to avoid losing Haze if 'Final Journey' expires unexpectedly.
