Alright, we're heading deep underwater in Chapter 9 of Child of Light, folks! Our goal is to recover the sun, and it's going to take us to the very bottom. Stick with me, and we'll get through this.

You'll start off heading towards a 'Piscean Village' to your right. Keep an eye out on your way there – you'll spot a !Statue with a riddle about a 'path of light.' Right below it, there's a SPEEDUST waiting for you.

Once you reach the village, you'll find it deserted and crawling with enemies. Two Pisceans are left, but surprise! They're actually green, amphibian muck creatures named Gen and Drust. They'll tell you an ogre has been snatching their people. They also have a STRSTAR for you, so grab that.

Next, head right and enter the door in a nearby hill. Inside, you'll find a switch. Pulling it opens a path, but only for a limited time! You'll need to fight the currents and make a mad dash through the circuit to grab a MAGDEFDUST and some other goodies. Don't dawdle!

Back outside, you can skim over the water to a cliffside riddled with entrances to a temple. Looks like a pretty imposing watery dungeon is up next. But first, we've got a puzzle to solve.

The Roman Numeral Puzzle:

Enter the mountain through the ground-level entrance. You'll see Roman numerals painted on the walls. There's a stand with 'VIII' on it in the lower-right corner. Try moving that stand and casting its shadow onto the 'VIII' on the wall. It won't work yet. Head up to the next level and find the 'XIII' stand. Move it down a bit, then project its shadow onto the partially hidden 'XIII' on the wall below. Now, fly up to the third floor. Ignore the 'V' stand for now and exit through the right side of the mountain. Go grab the DODGESTAR you'll find out there. Once you have it, return to push the 'V' stand down to the ground floor and project its shadow onto the pillar. Boom! Puzzle solved. An elevator will rise, bringing an angry ogre with it. Get ready!
