Walkthrough
- 1Immediately grab the XM-53 weapon located in front of you.
- 2Shoot the Manticore ridden by Sarah Hall with approximately 8-10 missiles from the XM-53 to defeat her.
- 3Dodge Sarah's gatling gun attacks and Javelin Missiles, which stick to the ground and explode after a short delay. Look for the Javelin markers on your HUD (Heads-Up Display) to know where to run.
- 4Approach the Manticore after defeating Sarah to trigger a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically).
- 5Follow the glowing trees to reach a baby and trigger more cutscenes.
- 6As you regain control, check your left for an ammo crate and a Mobile Armory.
- 7A few steps further, look right to find a destroyed bunker containing the first collectible, Shell Casing.
- 8Exit the bunker and follow Sarah. Stick to the left side of the area as you go up a hill, which is blocked by rocks and fences.
- 9Locate the second collectible, WWII US Field Radio, on a table at a small guard post with a turret.
- 10Continue following Sarah. Enemies will keep respawning, so focus on pushing forward.
- 11After a short distance, it will suddenly go dark. Walk forward until the floor begins to crumble and shift.
- 12Choose either of the two paths created; both lead to the same area.
- 13Encounter Dire Wolves. Find the collectible Field Binoculars in the center of the area, near an ammo crate.
- 14Keep pushing forward while looking behind you to kill the Wolves before they respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death).
- 15Approach Sarah, and the floor will open up. Jump across the floating rocks to reach the light and trigger a cutscene.
- 16As the house at the end of the scene rebuilds, you will regain control. Eliminate the 3 enemies shooting at you.
- 17Exit the house, and the previously defeated bodies will reanimate as allies and enemies. Use a short wall to take cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) and toss back any grenades.
- 18Enter the large 2-story building on the left side of the area to find the collectible Russian Field Compass on the second floor.
- 19Enemies will continue to appear. Before leaving this area, approach the door-like window to see more of the town.
- 20Locate a small house on the left, a barn on the right, and another barn-like building in between these two (between 2 armored vehicles). Enter this middle building to find the collectible Russian Hat.
- 21Enter the building where Sarah went in.
- 22Engage the enemies and the appearing tank. Grab an XM-53 near the fountain and use it to destroy the tank, which requires only a few missiles.
- 23Find the last collectible, Wagner Gramophone Record. From your starting position, approach the 2-story building in front of you, follow the wall to the left until you find a hole, and go to the second floor.
- 24Continue towards the cemetery, fighting your way through. Be aware that enemies might respawn behind you.
- 25Enter the church to trigger a cutscene.
- 26Fight the ASP inside the church amidst numerous enemies. Quickly move right to find an ammo crate and go up the stairs to the second floor for defensive positions. Note that the ASP will also attack enemies.
- 27Shoot the ASP's spherical spinning center to bring down its defenses, then attack it with your XM-53.
- 28Approach Sarah to trigger a cutscene, initiating a Zombies sequence.
- 29Zombies will enter through windows on two floors. They can be killed with 1-2 shots, but the fire will increase, confining you to the room in front of Sarah. The zombies become faster and more aggressive. Avoid staying behind Sarah, as zombies will still enter through her window.
- 30Shoot Sarah to end the mission.
Tips
- Enemies will keep respawning throughout the pursuit of Sarah; your best bet is to keep pushing forward.
- The ASP in the church also attacks the enemies, which can be advantageous.
- In the final Zombies sequence, be aware that the fire will grow, limiting your movement space.
