Walkthrough
- 1After the initial cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically), follow Hendricks down the path.
- 2Locate the first Collectible, 54i Data-Pad, inside a broken yellow tent.
- 3Engage and eliminate all enemies in the area. Use buildings for cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) (an ammo crate is in the left building).
- 4A walking tank will appear. Pick up the XM-53 near the fountain.
- 5Shoot the spinning circular component on the walking tank's underside to stun it.
- 6Use the XM-53 to destroy the stunned walking tank. Grenades have no effect.
- 7Proceed to the facility entrance and hack open the door.
- 8As you descend stairs, all screens will activate. Go LEFT (opposite of Hendricks) to find the second Collectible, Contamination Test Kit, at the end of the path.
- 9Follow Hendricks, cross the door, and check the EMF Signal when prompted.
- 10Descend further, listening to the dialogue. Engage the 54i, including a Warlord. Use fireflies and melee attacks. Utilize explosive containers.
- 11Continue descending until you reach the bottom, indicated by street lights.
- 12Go right, down, and up some stairs into a small room to find the third Collectible, Coalescence Marketing Material.
- 13Defeat the incoming Grunts.
- 14After dealing with the Grunts, Hendricks will open a path in the floor. Descend, activate your EV (Exosuit), and follow Hendricks, navigating a series of jumps.
- 15Listen to Kane in the room with the symbol. Use the ammo crate and mobile armory if needed. The door will open.
- 16Go through the door and make a quick left into the room to find the fourth Collectible, Bio-containment canister.
- 17Proceed down the hallway into a room where Grunts will rise and attack. Defeat them.
- 18Continue through the next door, where more Grunts will rise from the floor. Dispose of them.
- 19Proceed to the end of the hallway, down the stairs, and hack the door to trigger a cutscene.
- 20After the cutscene, go right from your starting position to find the fifth Collectible, E-Ink white-board.
- 21Activate your EV and help Hendricks reach higher ground.
- 22After the door opens, go through, resupply, and proceed down the hallway on the left. The lights will go out, and Grunts will awaken from the water.
- 23Go down this hallway and exit to the main room to fight more Grunts.
- 24Proceed through the door towards your objective, make a quick right into a small room to find the last Collectible, Prototype DNI Implant, underneath a screen.
- 25Navigate a long hallway with sleeping Grunts; running past them will cause them to awaken.
- 26Continue down the hallway and stairs. It is recommended to stay at the bottom and eliminate the Grunts for experience.
- 27Use the Mobile Armory if needed and proceed to the room with Diaz in the central tower for a boss encounter.
- 28Around the blue tower are red cooling towers. Shoot the exposed red sphere core of the first cooling tower to destroy it.
- 29Approach the blue tower, trigger an event, and toss a grenade inside.
- 30The second wave will include running Grunts. Shoot them and use Immolation against any shooting Grunts. Destroy the exposed core again.
- 31The third wave will have running Grunts heading towards Hendricks and armed Grunts heading towards you. Use Immolation against the armed Grunts while shooting the running ones. Destroy the third exposed core.
- 32All Grunts will revert to slow-walking but in large numbers. Shoot your way to the blue tower and toss the final grenade to trigger a cutscene.
- 33Activate your EV and run down the hallway, eliminating enemies.
- 34As you reach the end of the room, Kane will instruct you to swim to the surface. Cover Hendricks while he overrides the system.
- 35You will be underwater. Destroy Grunts in the next room and follow Hendricks through a blown-up door.
- 36Steer your way through the hallways until you reach the main area. Shoot down incoming mines.
- 37Swim between the bridge and into the fallen building where the objective indicator is.
- 38Swim to the side, following the objective indicator, and eliminate any Grunts in your path.
- 39Swim to the surface when prompted.
Tips
- The XM-53 is effective against the walking tank.
- Grenades are ineffective against the walking tank.
- Immolation is very useful for dealing with large groups of Grunts, especially during the boss fight.
- Utilize explosive containers scattered throughout the level.
- Take advantage of ammo crates and mobile armories for resupply.
