Complete the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Welcoming Committee mission by recalibrating defense turrets in Jakobs Cove. Learn zombie weaknesses and rewards.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon warping to Jakobs Cove, watch the introductory cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) (a cinematic event).
- 2Talk to the white Claptrap at the end of the dock to receive the mission and enter the area.
- 3Follow the trail into a cave, encountering Zombies.
- 4Warning: Zombie enemies are resistant to Shock and Corrosive damage but weak against Fire. Regular Zombies use melee attacks or puke, which can hinder your movement and clutter your HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap) (Heads-Up Display, showing game information). Defilers spew a large stream of vomit.
- 5Killing a Zombie with a headshot (a shot that lands on the enemy's head, usually an instant kill) (a shot to the head) causes them to drop a [ZOMBIE BRAIN].
- 6Wade through the water and defeat the Zombies. Most can be sniped from a safe distance.
- 7Proceed down the only path not boarded up to reach Jakobs Cove.
- 8Leap onto the balcony to your left and press X next to the Gatling Turret to turn it on.
- 9Turret 3 calibrated: Objective Complete.
- 10Fall to the ground and activate the turret near the south gate.
- 11Turret 1 calibrated: Objective Complete.
- 12Walk past the defunct bounty board and up the ramp on the west end of town to reach the final turret.
- 13Turret 2 calibrated: Objective Complete.
- 14TURN IN!
- 15Scale the roof of the building west of Lucky's to find a [RED CHEST] on top.
- 16Turn in the mission at the Claptrap located at the bounty board.
