Your first steps in Blood! This guide covers E1M1: Cradle to Grave, detailing all 12 secrets, enemies like Axe Zombies and Cultists, and weapons like the Flare Gun and Dynamite.

Welcome to Blood! This is your very first mission, E1M1: Cradle to Grave, and it's a doozy. Think of it as your introduction to the dark, twisted world you're about to dive into. Don't worry, I'll walk you through it. This level is packed with secrets, so keep your eyes peeled. You'll be exploring a graveyard, a funeral home, and a crematorium. Along the way, you'll encounter some nasty critters like Bats, Rats, Axe Zombies, and Cultists. Make sure you grab all the weapons you can find – you'll definitely need them. Walkthrough Highlights: * Secrets Galore: There are 11 regular secrets and 1 Super Secret. Don't miss them! * Key Items: Keep an eye out for the Flare Gun, Dynamite Bundle, Sawed-Off Shotgun, and Napalm Launcher. * Enemies: Be ready for Bats, Rats, Axe Zombies, and Cultists. * Watch Out! When you see exploding barrels, do NOT stand next to them. They're a shortcut, but they'll blow you up too if you're not careful. Let's get started. From your starting point, you'll need to find Secret 1 and Secret 2. Then, head outside to find Secret 3. After that, push through the gate and grab the Flare Gun. You'll want to jump to Secret 4 soon after. Next, make your way towards the Morningside Cemetery funeral home. Inside, you'll find Secret 5, Secret 6, and Secret 7. Remember those exploding barrels I mentioned? Blow up the two near the entrance to the funeral home for a shortcut back to the start – just don't be too close! Once you're in the Crematorium, look for Secret 8 and Secret 9. You can find a Doctor's Bag by destroying medical waste drums. Outside the window, there's a Box of TNT. Jump into a wall coffin for Secret 10, and then find Secret 11. Before you finish the level, there's a Super Secret (Secret 12) waiting for you. Stand between two coffins on the ground, jump, and you'll find it. It's worth the effort! Secrets Breakdown: * Secret 1: Use the side of the coffin to your right after jumping out of the shallow grave. (Box of Flares) * Secret 2: In the same room, use the curved wall on the far left corner. (Case of TNT) * Secret 3: After leaving the mausoleum, blow up the two Axe Zombies. Before heading down the stairs, use the hedge wall that touches the mausoleum wall. (Body Armor) * Secret 4: In the graveyard, jump onto the roof of the smaller tomb opposite the funeral home entrance. (Guns Akimbo) * Secret 5: Inside the funeral home, stand on the middle bench in the main room to reveal a small alcove. (Box of Flares) * Secret 6: Use the church organ past the previous secret to open an alcove above it. (Beast Vision) * Secret 7: In the first part of the morgue hall, blow up a cracked wall coffin on your lower right. (Body Armor) * Secret 8: Inside the crematorium, crawl into the furnace. Don't stay too long! * Secret 9: In the crematorium, use the saw on the wall to open the shelf next to it. (Box of Flares x2) * Secret 10: In the second morgue section, blow up a cracked wall coffin on your upper left and jump inside. (Fire Armor) * Secret 11: After Secret 10, enter through the Dagger Key door and jump behind the coffin/sarcophagus lid. (Box of Flares) * Secret 12 (Super Secret): From Secret 11, look out the hole where the end-of-level switch is. Jump from the cracked wall up into a high section of the angled rock wall directly in front of you. (Napalm Launcher) Have fun out there, and try not to get too messy!
