Follow this guide to conquer the Eastern Cave in Asgard's Wrath 2, defeat the Champion, and secure the Rusty Key. Learn how to navigate the treacherous paths and overcome the archers.
Alright, so you've made it to the Eastern Cave. It's not too bad, honestly. The main thing here is a single tough enemy, a Champion. Don't let that scare you – you've got this. Once you take him down, he'll drop a Rusty Key. Grab that and use it on the gate right there to get inside the cave.
Once you're in, head across the bridge and leap to the platform on your right. Now, before you jump down, press B to do a safe drop. Trust me, you don't want to see your character's brains splattered on the ground after a long fall. Keep going to the end of the path; there's a chest with some Gold waiting for you. Head back to the bridge and make your way towards the locked door. You'll need to shimmy across a narrow ledge on the left side.
You'll see some archers on the cliff opposite you. There's no sneaking past them, so don't even try. You'll have to drop down and then make your way up to their cliff. Take out the first archer, then push the other two off the edge. After that, a small group of Legions will rush up to you – deal with them. Once they're cleared, open the door so the Vikings can get through. Now, drop down and free them, then head out of the cave.
After you're done, head back to Olsen. Chat with him, and he'll be super grateful. He'll not only lend you his men but also give you some Explosives. With those, you'll finally be able to tackle the Central Cave. Use the Brenna Grof Leystone to warp over to the Cave Leystone, and get ready for the next challenge.
