The game's final map is typically shorter, often consisting of only four levels. By this point, the game's repetition might start to wear thin for some players. The pace can slow down considerably as the game throws a significant number of enemies at you around every corner, forcing a more cautious approach. This shift from aggressive flow to careful peeking and backtracking can diminish the initial thrill. The final level is particularly intense, featuring a 'shit tonne of enemies' that require strategic door control and careful engagement. There is no final boss fight if you choose the 'nice city' ending.
