Objective 2: Construct a Basic Shelter

Instructions for constructing a basic shelter using Dirt Blocks in 'The First Scoop' quest of 'A Game About Digging A Hole'.

Once you've reached 10 meters, the game will prompt you to build a shelter. This is crucial for safety and as a respawn point. Use the 'Dirt Blocks' you've collected. Open your inventory (E), select 'Dirt Block', and then use the Right Mouse Button to place them. Create a small 3x3 room with at least 2 blocks high walls and a ceiling. leave an entrance!

Crafting a Door: You'll need 5 'Wood Planks' to craft a basic 'Wooden Door'. You can find 'Wood' by digging near the surface or chopping down the few trees scattered around the starting area with your shovel (it's slow, but works). Open your inventory, navigate to the 'Crafting' tab, and craft the door. Place it in your shelter entrance.
