Part 17

Proceed west into the first room to find Grape Gel x3. Continue west to the next room for Panacea Bottle x2.

Go west to the next area, then south and west. Solve the block puzzle by pushing the bottom-left block in the square up, then the lone block right and up. Use the machine to open the gate.

Ride the elevator. Enter the first room for a Star Anklet. Check the tubes for Discovery #55 and Skit #151.

Continue east to the next room for an All-Divide. In the next area, go south and then east at the fork for a Platinum Scabbard. Equip it on Asbel for Skit #317.

Return to the fork and go south to a block puzzle. Pull the bottom-left block on the square left twice, then push the lone block up and right. Replace the left block and use the machine to open the gate. Descend the elevator.

Go east, then north at the fork. Open the chest for an Orange Scarf.

Return to the fork, go east, and take the elevator down. In the next block room, solve the puzzle: bottom-left up, bottom-right down, middle left, bottom-right up and left.

Go through the opened gate and continue east. Past the elevator, open the chest for Holy Bottle x2.

Ride the elevator and go right for Discovery #56 and Skit #152. Go left at the elevator and enter the room for 525 units of eleth. Descend the elevator.

Return to the fork and go north, then right at the first chance. Open the chest for a Busted Blade.

Return to the path and take the north elevator. Save at the save point and enter the room for a boss battle.

Veres is quick and hits hard, summoning Bees. Sidestep twice to avoid his lunging moves. Be cautious of his fire attack, which can inflict the burn condition.

After the battle, examine the machine behind the red blocks to open the gate.

Return to the save point and go east for two chests: Chocolate Covered Banana and a Book of Serendipity.

Return to the boss battle room and watch Skit #153 by the elevator. Ride the elevator up and exit.

At the bottom of the hill, check the save point for Skit #154. You will fight an optional, difficult battle requiring many sidesteps. Beware of upwards attacks that fire downwards. Winning unlocks Skit #155, Skit #156, and Skit #157. Sophie acquires the Pact Adherent title.

Enter Zavhert.

Head east and talk to the NPC with an angry bubble. Continue east to the inn and watch Skit #158 at the save point. Rest at the inn for Side Quest #7. Turn in Raw Materials at the inn to reopen the Equipment Shop.

Leave the inn and talk to the two angry NPCs. Head south and west towards the house with the cat for a scene (Side Quest #8). Talk to the angry woman in the house and watch the scene. Return to the inn for a star (Side Quest #9).

Leave the inn and go north behind it for a scene. Immediately return to the inn and check the save point for Skit #159. Return to Fendel Tower.

Head forward and open the chest on the right for Peach Gel x3. Approach the tower for a scene.

Inside, walk to the save point to watch Skit #160. Go as far east down the stairs as possible, then north under the stairs to find an elevator. Ride it up.

In the next room, go into the door. Go east and ride the elevators until you reach a chest with 3500 gald.

Ride the elevator to your left to move the one on the right, then walk over to it and ride it across.

In this room, talk to the two men in uniform, then approach the next door. Talk to the guard and tell him where the soldiers are. Enter the guarded door and continue.

In this room, turn the two valves on the wall to get rid of the steam. Ride the elevator up and check the chest for an hourglass.

Ride the platform to the right, then walk to the next one. Ascend and turn the valves one by one. Walk over and ride the platform left, then walk back around to the elevator. Before riding it, you will get Skit #375.

In the next area, ride the elevator to the right. Turn the valve here and ride the platform. Turn the other valve here and ride the platform back. Walk back to the second valve and turn it. Continue left and ride the elevator. Check the Discovery #57 and Skit #161.

At the next valves, turn the left and right ones and take the upper path to the next room.

In the next room, you will receive two apple gels, a peach gel, and a grape gel to give to soldiers. Give them the gels based on their request: red/cheap (apple), sweet (peach), expensive (grape). Example order: Black Male (Apple), White Male (Peach), Black Female (Grape), White Female (Apple).

Continue to the next room. Follow the linear path along the platforms to a chest with Eleth Bottle C. Descend the platform, then descend the next one to the left for a chest with Life Bottle x3.
