OS Upgrades:
- Cybernetic Enhanced
Allows the use of two implants at once. Rank 1. This is the best upgrade, enabling you to increase any two stats or use any two special abilities.
- Naturally Able
Provides a one-time bonus of 8 Cyber Enhancement Units. Rank 16. This upgrade is useless, offering minimal benefit without any extra abilities.
- Pack-Rat
Adds three extra inventory slots. Rank 15. This upgrade is completely useless as inventory slots depend on Strength, and it becomes redundant if you have a Strength of 6 or can increase it with implants.
- Pharm-o-Friendly
Grants an extra 20% benefit from all hypos. Rank 7. This upgrade is quite good for any agent, with greater benefit for those relying on psi hypos. It may be useful on harder difficulty levels.
- Sharpshooter
Each shot with a ranged (non-psionic) weapon does 15% more damage. Rank 2. This upgrade is good and greatly helps in defeating the hardest enemies, despite the 15% increase seeming small.
- Speedy
Increases movement speed by 15%. Rank 11. This upgrade is not very useful, as increased movement speed is only beneficial for running away, which is rarely necessary except to escape monsters.
- Strong Metabolism
Reduces damage from radiation and toxins by 25%. Rank 14. This is not a good upgrade, as radiation and toxin damage are infrequent and not very powerful.
- Tank
Increases maximum hit points by 5. Rank 5. This upgrade is pretty useful on harder difficulty levels due to low HP. It is less effective on Normal difficulty, where Endurance can be increased with Cyber Modules for a similar effect.
