To defeat Dry Bones, you must cast a magic spell from magic stones on the ground to paralyze and defeat it.

Stomp on the correct magic stone(s) by pressing A, then press A again while in the air to activate the spell, while avoiding Dry Bones's attacks.

Use the map on the top screen (minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen)) to determine your position, Dry Bones's location, and the next magic stone to stomp on.

You can zoom out the camera and focus it on the boss by pressing the X button once. Press X again to return to the default camera view. Rotate the view left or right using the L or R buttons.

Dry Bones attacks by throwing items like red berries, bones, and small tornadoes, and by jumping high to land on you.

On later stages, you must stomp on the magic stones in the correct order for the spell to work. The order is shown on the map after hitting Dry Bones and will repeat.

The number of magic stones required increases with each life Dry Bones loses: 1 stone initially, then 2, and finally 3 for the last life.

Cast the magic spell three times to defeat Dry Bones.

In Kamek's Library (Board 4), avoid Kamek's magical mischief.

To get Stars, open magic jars at a cost of 10 coins each, as some contain a Star.

The map shows blue spots for +3 coins and red spots for -3 coins.

Start at (J,k). The shop is at (A,j) and (R,c). Item spots are at (C,l) and (D,d).

The boss of Kamek's Library is Kamek.

In the 'Book Bash' minigame, survive a flight down Kamek's library hallway.

Shoot ink blobs at Kamek's face by pressing A until he is covered in ink.

Flying books and sliding bookcases will appear during the flight; watch out for surprises.
