Your ultimate guide to winning the Boonta Classic in Star Wars: Galactic Racer! Learn Sebulba's fastest routes, dodge hazards, and claim victory.
Alright, so you've made it to the Boonta Classic on Tatooine. This is it – the final race, your big showdown with Sebulba, and the very course from the movie! Pick your favorite racer, and let's go win this thing.
This track is wild with different paths. I've mapped out the routes that Sebulba, the favorite, usually takes because they're generally the fastest. Right at the start, head down the dirt road until it splits. You'll see a ridge path to the left and a cave to the right. Take the cave on the right and keep going through it until you burst out onto a canyon. Stick to the road on the right side of this canyon; going off it will definitely slow you down.
After you leave the canyon and make a left turn, you'll enter another. You'll hit a few turns here, including a wide, sharp curve to the left. After that curve, the path splits again. There's the main road, and a smaller path veering up to your right. You can go either way, honestly. The path going up is more fun and lets you catch some air for extra distance with a glide, but if you miss it, no big deal. (Just a heads-up, Sebulba doesn't take this upper path.)
Soon after, you'll come to a massive crevice you absolutely have to jump over. Remember to hit that 'tilt up' control – you should be a pro at this by now – to glide across. Keep going on the desert track and you'll enter a rocky area. You'll see three paths ahead of you. Quickly swerve onto the rightmost one; it's the fastest. From there, you'll navigate a twisty path, but it's not too tricky. Once you rejoin the other paths, you'll head out into the desert. There won't be a clear path at first, but you'll soon enter a less barren spot where you'll see the road again. Keep following it and be ready to jump over the next pit by tilting upwards.
Next up, you'll be on a road with lots of rocky arches, looking a lot like the movie's scenery. This part isn't too tough, but to save time, always hug the left side whenever the path splits slightly. The first time you see two arches, one left and one right, definitely take the left one. You can check your map for the second split, or just keep to the left for this whole section. After this, you'll pass into a canyon, then through a crevice. You'll see three paths – just take the middle one.
Emerge from the cave and you'll find yourself in a wide gorge. Uh oh, you're getting shot at! Whenever a shot hits the ground, flames will erupt. If you hit one of these flames, your engines will catch fire, making control difficult and damaging your ship. Your best bet here is to stay to the left side, as the fire tends to concentrate in the middle. Dodge those flames! Keep moving, and you'll see paths to the left and right, with one dipping down in the middle. You might be tempted to take that middle path because it looks fastest, but DON'T! Like I said, all the fire clusters in the middle. While you're pretty safe from getting shot on the left or right paths, it's almost impossible to avoid the fire if you take the middle, as the path is too narrow to dodge effectively.
Keep going, sticking to the left or right paths, until the shooting stops. You'll enter another canyon, but be careful! A Sandcrawler is patrolling this area, so until you pass it, keep your eyes peeled and stick to the left or right edges of the track – the Sandcrawler stays right in the middle. Not long after, you'll see something familiar: a small crevice you need to pass through, just like the one in the first level. Phew, the worst is over! The rest of the track is pretty much identical to the first Tatooine course. Just squeeze through the crevice, weave through the rocks, and you're done! You're the champion!
Character Unlock: Once you win, Sebulba is finally yours! His stats are generally average, except for his top speed, which is absolutely insane.
