Learn the basic controls in Spider-Man 2 (2004) by following the webswing course tutorial. Use web targets to swing around the block.
Walkthrough
- 1After a brief cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) (an event shown in the game) where you witness the "birth" of Doc Ock, the tutorial begins, teaching you the basic controls and actions.
- 2Your first task is to swing around the block using the web targets.
- 3Aim at a target with your spider cursor until the word SWING appears and the target glows green.
- 4Press the Action button to shoot a web string at the target and begin swinging.
- 5As you reach the pinnacle of your swing, aim at the next target and press the Action button to grab it and continue swinging.
- 6You'll have to adjust your direction to get around corners.
- 7While swinging, note the directional arrow at the top center of the HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap) (Heads-Up Display, showing game information). This arrow will almost always point you towards your current mission objective.
Tips
- The directional arrow on the HUD is crucial for navigating towards your objective.
- Practice adjusting your direction mid-swing to navigate corners effectively.
