How to Beat Studiopolis Zone Bosses

Defeat Studiopolis Zone bosses in Sonic Mania. Learn attack patterns for Heavy Gunner and Heavy Shinobi to overcome these Hard-Boiled Heavies.

Studiopolis Zone features two of the Hard-Boiled Heavies, each with distinct attack patterns.

• Act 1: Heavy Gunner: This large robot flies around and shoots missiles. Dodge its missiles and hit it when it lands or is briefly vulnerable after firing. It will sometimes charge a powerful shot, giving you a window to attack.
• Act 2: Heavy Shinobi: A ninja-themed robot that uses shurikens and smoke bombs. Attack him when he's visible and avoid his projectiles. He often leaves himself open after a dash attack or when he reappears from a smoke cloud.
