Walkthrough

    After defeating the previous boss, collect the +50 Health if needed, then enter the door and climb the ramp.

    A cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) will play showing Sam collecting the second Element.

    Begin the Valley of the Kings level by climbing either set of stairs and collecting the ten boxes of shells.

    Save your game before facing waves of monsters.

    Kill all monsters until the door at the other end opens, then move forward to unleash more.

    Near a tree in the middle of the level, find a Health Bottle and four boxes of shells. More Health and shells are spread throughout the level.

    Retrace your steps and take a right into a large room.

    Shoot some enemies through the bars with your double Shotgun, then continue onward when they open.

    Cross the hallway and dive into the pond to grab the Stone Ankh at the bottom.

    Take the Tommygun in the center. Frogs will spawn from the light in the center; shoot each one as it appears.

    In the room at the top, you will find four STATUES.

    Go into the next room. If you destroyed all the statues, a pendulum will activate.

    Go to the right on the cliff. If a pendulum platform is swinging across, jump on it and then to the cliff on the other side to enter the secret level.

Secret Level: Moon Mountains

  1. The first area is a series of large, green platforms with enemies and items spawning on each.
  2. When you reach the last platform, jump to another one and follow its path through caves, encountering Gnarrs and grunts.
  3. In the next open area, use your Rocket Launcher to kill enemies directly forward and down, and also Harpies.
  4. Go to the other side, hop down, and enter the next cave.
  5. Go into the hole to fall into a lake.

  • To access the secret level, Moon Mountains, you must destroy all the statues in the Valley of the Kings level.
  • The Bio-Mechanoid, Major (red) is a new creature that shoots two rockets at a time.
  • The Aludran Reptiloid Common fires homing green missiles that can be shot down with any weapon.
  • The gargantuan boss fires homing fireballs; strafe to avoid them.
  • There are four boxes of shells by the Coach Gun, and more shells and Health Bottles spread throughout the room in Part 12.
