She served in this role from 18 A.E. until her death in 27 A.E. She was the daughter of Major Helena Stroud, and Anya herself joined the COG Army way back in 4 B.E., during the Pendulum Wars. Interestingly, unlike her mom, Anya didn't really become a frontline Gear soldier until much later, in 14 A.E., during the Locust War. ### Early Life and the Pendulum Wars Not much is detailed about her earliest years, but we know she enlisted in the COG Army in 4 B.E. This was during the Pendulum Wars, a pretty turbulent time. She was involved in preparing for something called Operation Leveler and even saw action during the Battle of Aspho Fields. After that battle, things shifted for her, though the specifics aren't super clear from the get-go. ### The Locust War and Beyond When Emergence Day happened, Anya was right in the thick of it. She was involved in major operations like the Hammer of Dawn Strike, the Fall of Ephyra, and the Lightmass Offensive. You'll see her name pop up in missions like the Rescue of Alpha Squad, a mission in the Old Ephyra District, and even a mission to the Lethia Imulsion Facility. She was also part of missions to East Barricade Academy and helped with repairing Timgad Bridge before the big Lightmass Bomb deployment. After the Lightmass Offensive, her involvement continued. She was part of the Evacuation of North Gate, and missions to Tollen, Montevado, and Jilane. She also participated in the Raid on Jacinto Med. Her journey took her to Port Farrall, where she was involved in a Skirmish in Port Farrall and a mission to Merrenat Naval Base. She also went on a mission to Vectes. ### Stranded Insurgency and Lambent Pandemic Later, Anya got involved with the Stranded Insurgency. This included Visiting the Stranded, a Raid on Pelruan, and a Meeting in the Town Hall. She was part of Rebuilding on Vectes, and had meetings on the High Seas and at Merris Farm. The Battle of Vectes and the Levanto Incident were also part of this period. As the Lambent Pandemic hit, Anya was in command of Pelruan and fought in the Battle of Pelruan, which included the Leviathan Assault and an effort to finish the Lambent. She saw the Lambent Spread firsthand and was involved in the Imulsion Discovery. Evacuating Pelruan and returning to VNB were critical steps. She fought in the Second and Third Battles of New Jacinto, and eventually left Vectes, adjusting to life at sea.
