This is what we call the 'True Ending', and it's a bit more involved than the regular one, but totally worth it to save that town! To get this ending, you'll need to do something specific before you even get to the acid swimming section. Keep an eye out for a lever – you absolutely must flick this lever before you proceed. Be warned, this *will* make the map harder, but that's the price of admission for the good stuff. After you've made that choice and navigated the tougher challenges, the volcano will erupt. This time, when you get to the final room and start activating the wall, everything will work perfectly because you flipped that lever earlier. All the crucial mechanisms will be enabled, the wall will rise, and the lava will be diverted into the water. Boom! You've saved the entire city. Congrats on the True Ending! There's also a 'secret' path you can find midway through the True Ending's route. If you pass through a specific vent, you'll end up in an evacuation chamber. It's not exactly an ending, but you can hang out there and even chat with some of the evacuees.
