Understanding Your Map

Your map, accessible via the pause menu, is your most valuable tool. It displays key points of interest, mission markers, and your current location. Pay close attention to:

• Mission Markers: Indicated by a distinct icon (often a scroll or exclamation mark), these show where to start or progress main story and side quests.
• Services: Icons for the Blacksmith, Horse Shop, and other vendors are crucial for upgrades and repairs.
• Safe Houses: Your personal hideouts, marked by a small house icon, allow you to save your game and store items.
• Wanted Level Indicators: While not directly on the map, understanding the proximity of Guard patrols (visible on your mini-map) is vital for evading capture.

Key Regions & Points of Interest

Ye Olde Town Centre

The bustling heart of the kingdom, the Town Centre is where your journey often begins and where many early missions are centered. It's a dense area with both opportunities and dangers.

• The Tavern: Located centrally, this is a common quest-giver hub. Many early missions, such as "The Great Escape" or "A Horse of Course," will direct you here. It's also a good place to pick up a quick brawl for some extra coin.
• Blacksmith's Forge: Situated on the eastern edge of the Town Centre, near the main gate. This is where you can repair your weapons and armor, and purchase new, more powerful gear like the Longsword or Plate Armor. Always keep your gear in top shape!
• Horse Shop: Found just outside the western gate of the Town Centre. This is your primary source for acquiring new steeds or customizing your current one. Consider upgrading to a faster Warhorse for better escapes.
