Steal a Horse

Learn how to steal a horse from the stable in Rustler. Master this early objective and prepare for the consequences as you ride away.

Objective: Steal a horse from the nearby stable.

After the initial cutscene, Buddy will instruct you to steal a horse. Head towards the stable marked on your mini-map. You'll see a horse tied up. Approach it and press E to mount it. Be quick, as the stable owner might notice you. Once mounted, ride away from the stable to complete this objective. This will likely trigger a low wanted level (one star), so be prepared to evade the guards.

Tip: If you get caught, you can either fight the stable owner (not recommended for your first encounter) or simply run away. Horses are your primary mode of transportation and escape, so getting comfortable with riding is key. Don't worry too much about damaging the horse; they're quite resilient in Rustler.
