How to Beat Boss: 'The Architect' Drone

Defeat REMATCH (2025)'s 'The Architect' Drone boss. Exploit its weakness to explosive damage and survive its laser barrages and missile pods.

Location: Syndicate Data Vault - 'Core Chamber'

The Architect Drone is a massive, heavily armored flying unit encountered at the end of Chapter 2. Its primary weakness is Explosive Damage. It has three phases:

Phase 1: Laser Barrage & Missile Pods

• Attack Pattern: The Architect will fire continuous laser beams and launch volleys of homing missiles. It also deploys 'Mini-Drones' that harass you.
• Strategy: Focus on dodging the lasers and shooting down the missiles before they hit. Prioritize eliminating the Mini-Drones as they can quickly chip away at your health. Use cover to avoid sustained laser fire.
• Weakness: Explosive damage (grenades, rocket launchers) is highly effective against its armor.

Phase 2: Shield & EMP Pulse

• Trigger: The Architect reaches 60% health.
• New Attacks: It activates an 'Energy Shield' that makes it immune to direct damage. It also charges an 'EMP Pulse' that stuns you and disables your abilities for a short duration.
• Strategy: To break the shield, you must destroy the four 'Energy Conduits' located on the arena's pillars. While the shield is active, focus on avoiding its attacks. When it charges the EMP Pulse, quickly get behind cover or use a 'Disruption Grenade' to interrupt it.

Phase 3: Overload & Self-Repair

• Trigger: The Architect reaches 25% health.
• New Attacks: It enters an 'Overload' state, increasing its attack speed and damage. It will also attempt to 'Self-Repair', slowly regenerating health.
• Strategy: This is a DPS race. Unleash all your strongest abilities and weapons. Continue to use Explosive damage. Interrupt its Self-Repair attempts with high burst damage or stun abilities. Do not let it regenerate too much health.
