Master the Razor Ice mission in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege with our comprehensive guide. Learn enemy locations, optimal routes, and strategies to successfully rescue the hostage.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Begin by starting from the east INS.
  2. 2
Head south and eliminate the patrol on the west side of the boat.
  3. 3
Proceed up the ramp and approach the bridge from the west.
  4. 4
Shoot the two tangos in the bridge through the glass.
  5. 5
Enter the boat and clear the remaining tango on this floor.
  6. 6
Head back down the ramp and eliminate the patrol on the east side.
  7. 7
    Clear this floor.
  8. 8
Descend to the next floor, taking an S-shaped path to the ladder in the north. Enter the room to the NE after stepping into the hallway and wind your way to the ladder.
  9. 9
Optionally, kill the two tangos in the side rooms.
  10. 10
Approach the ladder from the west for an easier angle to eliminate tangos.
  11. 11
    Reload and descend the ladder.
  12. 12
Immediately look south for the hostage guard, who is most likely on the bottom floor.
  13. 13
Approach the stairs cautiously. If spotted, the guard fires wildly, giving you an opportunity to eliminate her.
  14. 14
Take down the hostage guard and escort the hostage back to EXT.
Tips
  • The leader on the 3rd floor is not a required kill, but can be eliminated by bouncing 4 well-thrown grenades into his room.
  • Entering the bomb room will cause the mission to fail, even if the leader is dead.
  • Consider bringing one recon operative and another operative equipped with grenades if you plan to eliminate the leader.
  • When approaching the ladder on the lower floor, approaching from the west provides a better angle to deal with tangos.
  • The hostage guard often misses her initial shots if she spots you, providing a window to neutralize her.
