Sargon: The Immortal

Sargon is a young, gifted Persian warrior and a member of the elite group known as The Immortals. In Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Sargon and his fellow Immortals venture into the cursed and hostile Mount Qaf to rescue the kidnapped Prince Ghassan. During their journey, they discover that time itself is a formidable enemy and that the balance of the world must be restored. The game exists in its own continuity, separate from previous Prince of Persia titles.

The game begins on a battlefield where Persia is defending itself from the Kushans. Sargon, fighting alongside the other six Immortals, turns the tide of battle and defeats the Kushan general Uvishka. Impressed by his skill, Queen Thomyris awards Sargon a blue sash. However, their victory is short-lived as Prince Ghassan is kidnapped by Sargon's mentor, Anahita. Sargon and the Immortals pursue them to the mystical Mount Qaf, a place where time behaves erratically and those who enter rarely return. As they explore, the Immortals encounter strange temporal anomalies, including finding a decomposed soldier who appears to have been dead for years, despite their recent arrival.

Sargon's journey through Mount Qaf leads him to meet various characters, including Fariba, a girl who has been on the mountain for years and gives him the Eye of the Wanderer and a cryptic map. He also encounters his fellow Immortals, some of whom report having been on the mountain for days, experiencing time differently. He finds a body resembling himself and Menolias' bow, only to later encounter Menolias himself, carrying the same bow. Sargon eventually finds Anahita and Prince Ghassan, and encounters the deity Kaheva, who offers to upgrade his equipment, and also meets Jahandar.
