Alright, so you've booted up Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth and picked your protagonist. The main flow of the game is pretty straightforward once you get past those initial prologues. Think of Yasogami High School as your home base – it's where you'll be doing a bunch of important stuff when you're not delving into dungeons.

In the school, you can check out story scenes, grab sidequests called 'requests' from Elizabeth, fuse new Personas to power up your team, or just hit up the shop for better weapons and armor. You can zip back to the school anytime using an item called a 'Goho-M', or by simply exiting a dungeon from its first floor.

When you're not chilling at the school, you'll be exploring the game's dungeons, which are called labyrinths. Each labyrinth is broken down into multiple floors – some are short with just three floors, while others can stretch up to nine! Expect to run into puzzles, traps, and plenty of enemies along the way. Your main goal in each labyrinth is to reach the very bottom and take down the boss waiting there.

Once you've conquered a dungeon, you'll head back to the school. Usually, a few cutscenes will play out, setting the stage for the next labyrinth to unlock. It's a pretty classic dungeon-crawler loop: explore, fight, return, progress the story, and then go back out to explore again!
