Armornite - Requires 13 Evolution Points. MAX lock-ons: 10
Skydart - Requires 15 Evolution Points by the end of Episode 4. This is the first special dragon class. To achieve this, you must earn 2 Tech Points and all possible Route Points on Episodes 2-4 (specifically, route 2 on Episodes 2 and 3, and route 3 on Episode 4). MAX lock-ons: 12
Brigadewing - Requires 18 Evolution Points. MAX lock-ons: 12
Solo Wing - Requires 24 Evolution Points after Episode 6. This is the second and final special dragon class. To obtain it, you must earn ALL possible Evolution Points from EVERY Episode, and you will transform just before the final boss. This includes ALL Clear Points, Route Points, and Tech Points possible from each episode. This form is the mysterious Blue Dragon from the first Panzer Dragoon game. However, if you die at any point while in Solo Wing form, your maximum lock-on number will decrease to 8, and some of its strength will be reduced. MAX lock-ons: 12
IVb...Evolution Points
At the end of every episode, a status screen displays your score for that stage and all earned points, along with your total. Points are categorized under Clear Points, Route Points, and Technical Points.
IVb1...Clear Points
There are a total of 10 Clear Points available. You earn Clear Points simply by beating a stage. Across the 5 episodes, these points are essentially automatic. If you beat the game, you are guaranteed to evolve to at least Windrider status, regardless of performance.
IVb2...Route Points
There are a total of 4 Route Points available. Route Points can only be earned on Episodes 2, 3, and 4. You gain more Route Points depending on the difficulty of the route taken during a stage. IVb3...Technical Points
These are the final points obtainable at the end of stages. If your Shot Down Ratio at the end of a stage is between 80-89%, you earn 1 Technical Point. A Shot Down Ratio of 90% or higher grants 2 Technical Points.
