Master the Moon Grotto in Ori and the Blind Forest! Learn to time your jumps past deadly lasers, wall jump to safety, and find the path to Gumo's Hideout.
Alright, so you've made it to the Moon Grotto. Keep an eye out for that Gumon character – he's already zipped past some seriously dangerous-looking purple lasers. Your job is to do the same, but these lasers are no joke; they'll one-shot you if you get caught. The trick here is all about timing. You'll want to watch when the lasers fire and, more importantly, when they *aren't* firing. The best move is to actually jump *into* the laser just as it's powering down. This gives you a little extra breathing room compared to waiting for it to fully disappear before you leap.
Once you've got the timing down, you'll need to make a mad dash across the laser floor when they're off. Don't hesitate!
Things get a bit trickier with the bottom laser. You'll need to wall jump down and then keep wall jumping to hover above the laser. As it's about to fade out, drop down, sprint to the right, and then wall jump again, clinging to that middle wall. You'll have to wait for the laser to dissipate here too before you can make a run for the other side to the east. Keep heading east, drop down onto the wooden platform, and then drop down again. Head east until you find a Spirit Well – go ahead and use it. Now, backtrack west a bit to find the Gumon again. He's about to make another dramatic exit, jumping even further down.
Follow him down. You'll see paths to the left and right, but don't worry about them for now – your current skills won't let you get past those obstacles. At the very bottom, you'll find an Energy Gate. If you've got some spare energy, go ahead and open it. You can't actually pass through it, but it's worth activating if you can. To keep moving forward, you need to head east of the Energy Gate. When you reach the bridge, the Gumon will automatically drop you into Gumo's Hideout. You're through the grotto!
