Complete guide to Mirage Mansion in Mario Tennis Aces, including defeating Boo, the Panel Challenge, and the Great Mirror Mystery.

After defeating Petey and claiming the Power Stone from Piranha Plant Forest, head right to Bay Ferry.

Bay Ferry

Toad mentions another Power Stone is on the other side of the island. You'll need Koopa Troopa's help to get there, but first, you must win a tennis match against him.

Battle Boat

Objective: Avoid the ship's mast and defeat the Koopa Troopa.

Match Details: Two-game, three-set match.

Difficulty: Easy.

This match is standard except for a giant mast in the center of the court and slightly obscured Star Points. Win easily by using Flat shots and targeting the sides of the court away from Koopa Troopa. After defeating him, you can access Mirage Mansion.

Mirage Mansion

After taking the ferry, turn right at the fork and follow the path to Mirage Mansion. Mysterious mirrors will block your exit, forcing you to face an opponent.

Malicious Mirrors

Objective: Defeat Boo while avoiding the mysterious mirrors.

Match Details: Two-game, three-set match.

Difficulty: Easy.

This court is similar to the challenge at Piranha Plant Forest, but you must avoid two floating mirrors. Hitting the ball into the Blue Mirror causes it to spit the ball out of the Red Mirror, and vice-versa. If Boo hits a mirror, it still spits the ball out on your side. Pay attention to positioning when the ball hits a mirror and react accordingly. Boo's shots curve a lot, especially his Slice shots. Play in the center of the sides of the court to improve your chances. Defeat Boo to reach the Practice Court.

Practice Court

Boo offers a tip in exchange for completing his challenge.

Panel Challenge (Beginner)

Objective: Score 500 points within the time limit.

Difficulty: Easy.

Knock down panels on a 4x4 grid to reach the target score. Each row is worth points equal to its row number. Hit panels with stars to create Star Points for Zone Shots that hit multiple panels. The more panels hit in a single rally, the more points earned. Avoid Bowser panels, as they require perfect timing to return and avoid losing time. After completing this, head right on the world map to reach the Reflection Room.

Reflection Room

Solve a mirror puzzle within a time limit to clear the path forward.

The Great Mirror Mystery

Objective: Solve the mirror puzzle and clear the path forward within the time limit.

Difficulty: Moderate.

Pop the bubbles in the mirror by hitting the ball into them. A Star Point will appear, then use a Zone Shot to target the pulsing bubble. Avoid overusing Flat shots, as this makes rallies difficult and can lead to time penalties. After the bubbles disappear, you'll face the second part: hitting moving gears. Hit a gear, a Star Point appears, then use a Zone Shot to make it disappear. Aim just in front of the gear's path to compensate for its movement. There are three waves of gears: two, then three, then four. Completing the final wave turns the central clock from purple to blue. Target it with a final Zone Shot to finish.

Detour

Just right of the Reflection Room is a Detour, where Boo awaits another challenge.

Rally Challenge (Intermediate)

Objective: Keep rallying until you reach 300 points.

Difficulty: Moderate.

This challenge is similar to a previous rally challenge. Boo's shots curve a lot, especially his Slice shots. Be mindful of your position to maintain the rally and return the ball to the corners. Keep it simple and focus on continuing the rally.
