Part 4

After returning to fighting, jump on enemies but avoid those on fire. If an enemy is on fire, dodge an attack or counter to extinguish it.

Proceed south to a new area. After a scene, grab the Mushroom to the left and defeat enemies as you go downstairs.

In the next area, use the Save Block and continue onward.

You'll find a collection room with Pi'illo Island artifacts and Broque Monsieur. Luigi rests on an ancient bed with a pillow you found earlier.

Explore the room, then head south to meet Toads, Peach, and an old Toad. Peach notices Luigi is out cold, and a multi-colored entity emerges from his head – likely his dreams. Peach is sucked into Luigi's dream, and Mario follows.

Enter the Dream: In the multicolored space, rotate Mario with the Circle Pad and use the A Button to paddle towards the top-right.

On the other side, you'll be in a 2D platformer area. Head right across ledges into the next area.

Continue right, ascending ledges and grabbing a Coin. Use the moving platform to the left to ascend ledges and reach Broque Monsieur.

Go up and to the gate he entered. To the right, hit the ? Block for a Coin. Through the gate, head right to grab 5 Coins from a ? Block.

Enter the second gate to find a Nut. Enter the rightmost gate, then the middle one to find Dreamy Luigi. Use the gate to the right.

Head right, save, and continue to the next area.

Through the gate, you'll find the Dreamy Chez Broque Shop. Purchase items and consider getting the Picnic Boots if you have Expert Boots, or keep Cozy Wears if you have them.

Back in the main area, head right and bump the ! Block to trigger a battle.

TUTORIAL BATTLE - Dromba x10: These enemies have ~12 HP each and yield 1 EXP and 1 Coin. They attack by rolling (jump over) and a "T" Strike.

During this battle, Dreamy Luigi merges with Mario, increasing damage with Excellent attacks. Countering is also introduced; use the Circle Pad to maneuver Up and Down for more counterattacks. For the "T" formation, line up with the tail and jump repeatedly.

After the tutorial battle, get the 50 Coin in the enclosure. Jump up ledges and continue right.

Go downhill, defeating Drombas. You'll find 5 Coins in a ? Block, then 1 Coin, then another 1 Coin.

Ride a moving ledge to get 5 Coins from an M Block and a Super Mushroom from an L Block. Continue right.

BOSS - Dreamy Mario Horde: This boss has 96 HP and yields 75 EXP and 45 Coins. It drops So-So Boots. Attacks include Tackle (jump over), Meteor Mario (jump over), Item Toss (dodge fireballs, grab items), and Star Tackle (run or jump).

Be careful not to get hit too much. Getting Excellents is crucial. Jump on the Dreamy Mario that jumps when they regenerate to stop their attacks.

After the battle, Peach and a dark cloud go through a hole in the floor. Head right into the next area.

Hop under the large object fifteen times to break it, releasing Prince Dreambert.

Under the Castle: Continue through the area.
