Sotenbori is based on the real Doutonbori in Osaka. It is split by a canal running west to east. The north side features Sotenbori Street with many restaurants and shops. The south side is the Shofukucho district, containing more attractions and businesses. Shofukucho is a main drag running east to west. Southwest of Shofukucho is a block with a large series of buildings. Southeast of that is Ashitaba Park, a triangle-shaped park, and the somewhat small Bunzaemon Outdoor Mall at the far east.

Shops:

• Poppo: A chain of convenience stores offering cheap food, drinks, and healing items. Locations include the very northeast corner of Sotenbori, the west end of Shofukucho, and in the southeast part of Ashitaba Park.
• Ebisu Pawn: Sell items like Plates and purchase varied goods.
• Hiratai: An okonomiyaki (wheat flour pancake with meat, veggies, and toppings) stand on the river footpath in the southeast, specializing in carryout food.
• Kukuru: A takoyaki (small bites of octopus deep-fried and served with sauce) stand in the northeast, specializing in takeout.
• Shigano Cigarettes: Sells cigarettes and is located in the Bunzaemon Outdoor Mall.
• Tsuruha Drugs: A drugstore on Sotenbori Street offering very good healing items.
• Mizorogi's Workshop: Located in the northwest part of the map, this shop sells high-end Gear items after story progression.
