Unlocking Restricted Zones

Kusan is a city riddled with restricted zones, areas heavily fortified and guarded by various factions. Gaining access to these zones often requires specific keys, bypass codes, or the completion of prerequisite objectives. One of the earliest restricted zones players will encounter is the "Corporate Research Facility," located in the Industrial District. Access to this facility is initially blocked by a high-security checkpoint manned by heavily armed Corporate Security soldiers. To bypass this, players must first locate and retrieve the "Access Card Alpha" from the "Data Hub" located in the adjacent office building. This card has a 95% chance of being found in the main server room, guarded by at least two "Elite Guards" equipped with "Pulse Rifles."

Another significant restricted zone is the "Yakuza Black Site" in the Downtown sector. Entry here is typically barred by a reinforced steel door requiring a "Yakuza Override Key." This key is usually held by a mid-level Yakuza lieutenant known as "Kenji the Shiv," who patrols the "Sakura Gardens" area. Defeating Kenji the Shiv will yield the key, but he is often accompanied by at least three "Yakuza Thugs" and a "Yakuza Brute" with a high resistance to ballistic damage. Players employing stealth or focusing on headshots with their "Silenced Pistol" will have a higher success rate.

Beyond these, certain areas within the "Underground Network" also become restricted, requiring the use of specialized equipment or the completion of specific story missions. For instance, the "Bio-Hazard Containment Unit" within the Underground Network is sealed until You acquires the "Hazmat Suit" and the "Decontamination Keycard." The Hazmat Suit can be crafted at a workbench using 10 "Scrap Metal Units" and 5 "Chemical Compounds," while the Decontamination Keycard is a reward for completing the "Quarantine Breach" mission. Failure to meet these requirements before attempting to enter the Bio-Hazard Containment Unit will result in immediate damage from toxic agents, depleting approximately 20% of the player's health per second.
