How to Beat Marx

Learn how to defeat the final boss, Marx, in Kirby Super Star with this comprehensive guide. Discover his weaknesses, attack patterns, and effective strategies to emerge victorious.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Marx is weak to most attacks, but some abilities are more effective than others.
• Plasma and Beam abilities are particularly effective due to their range and damage output.
• Avoid close-range combat when possible, as Marx has several dangerous close-range attacks.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Marx floats around the screen, firing projectiles and summoning smaller enemies. He will also perform a dash attack.
2. Phase 2: After taking enough damage, Marx will begin to use his scythe for more powerful melee attacks and will also summon larger, more dangerous enemies. He may also create a large explosion that covers most of the screen.
3. Phase 3: In his final form, Marx becomes enraged and attacks more aggressively, using a combination of his previous attacks and a powerful screen-filling energy blast.

Strategy:

• Use the Plasma or Beam ability to attack Marx from a safe distance.
• When Marx summons enemies, prioritize defeating them quickly to avoid being overwhelmed.
• Dodge Marx's dash attacks and scythe swings.
• In Phase 3, focus on dodging his attacks and only attack when you see a clear opening. The explosion attack can be dodged by staying near the edges of the screen or by using a quick dash.
• If you lose your ability, try to inhale an enemy quickly to regain a useful power.
• Be patient and don't get greedy with your attacks. It's better to play it safe and chip away at his health.
