Alright, let's talk about keeping your arsenal ready in Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. It's not just about swinging your sword; knowing when to switch weapons and how to reload efficiently can be the difference between victory and becoming a pile of bones.

Basics of Weapon Management:

• Accessing Your Gear: The key to managing your weapons and shields is the inventory screen. Press the Select button to bring it up. Here, you can see everything you've picked up and equip what you want to use.
• Equipping Weapons: Once in the inventory, you can select your ARM (your starting weapon) or any other weapon you find. You can also equip shields here. Remember, your ARM can be swung with the X button and thrown with the Square button.
• Throwing Weapons: Weapons like the THROWING DAGGERS have a limited ammo count, shown in your inventory. When you find them, you'll get a certain number (like 100 Daggers). It's smart to save these for enemies that are hard to reach or for boss fights where you need to deal damage from a distance. You can buy more from Merchant Gargoyles later on.
• Targeting Sensor: For any weapon that can be thrown, you'll see a green light hovering around it when it's equipped. This is your targeting sensor. If this light locks onto an object or monster, your throw will hit. If it doesn't, you'll likely miss.
• Continuous Fire: For throwing weapons, holding down the button (usually Square for throwing) will allow for continuous firing as long as you have ammo.
• Shields: Shields, like the COPPER SHIELD you find early on, have a durability rating (e.g., 150). This shows how much damage they can take before breaking. Keep an eye on this, especially during tough fights.
• Life Meter & Bottles: While not directly weapon switching, understanding your health is crucial. Falling into deep water or voids drains your life meter. If it empties, it refills using the health from your LIFE BOTTLES. These bottles are permanent additions, but the health within them depletes and can be refilled.
