Walkthrough for Horizon: Steel Frontiers' Cauldron Rho, including enemy encounters, puzzle solutions, and override codes for Tramplers, Shell-Walkers, Snapmaws, Longlegs, and Ravagers.
Walkthrough
- 1Head to the southern edge of the Tallneck's lake where it becomes a river. Find [TD-W33] Vani in Concert south along the western shore.
- 2Cross the river east to a path. Follow it north/northeast, avoiding a Shell-Walker convoy, until you reach a campfire and a crashed plane. Find [TD-W32] Metal vs. Meat! by the fuselage.
- 3Continue northeast to a second campfire at a road split. Follow the right path into a small canyon. You'll find dead humans, a supply crate, and Cauldron Rho guarded by four Watchers. Use the long grass for stealth takedowns.
- 4Approach the Cauldron door. A gap prevents crossing; the Network Uplink for a bridge is on the other side. Go left, climb down into the gap, and rappel down.
- 5Follow ledges to a rappel hold and descend. Continue down the path to more dead humans and a cave entrance.
- 6Enter the cave, follow the path, and override the next door. Watch out for an immediate Watcher.
- 7Follow the tunnel to a gap with a rotating Turbine. Shoot the center to change its rotation direction (polarity) and ride it across.
- 8Continue down the tunnel into a larger open area with another door to override. This room contains two Watchers and a Ravager. Prioritize taking out the Watchers stealthily, then use Blast Wire traps for the Ravager.
- 9Locate the Turbine on the left, change its polarity, and ride it up. Jump to a passing box to cross the gap.
- 10Drop down and override the Network Uplink to create a bridge. Cross the bridge to the next Turbine.
- 11Ride the favorably rotating Turbine to a Field Generator. Override it to deactivate the force field blocking the boxes. A supply crate is in the small hallway to the right.
- 12Descend the ramp left of the Field Generator to return to the bottom floor.
- 13Return to the other Turbine and ride it up to a box to cross the force field.
- 14Navigate a horizontal Turbine, change its polarity, ride it across, and follow the tunnel to a room with three Watchers and a pool of water.
- 15Defeat the Watchers and override the door to the Blaze Processing Chamber. This room contains Watchers, Longlegs, and a Ravager. Use ledges for Blast Wire traps on the ramps. Prioritize eliminating the Ravager, potentially using its own canon against the other machines.
- 16On the upper ledge, override the Network Uplink to create a bridge to the central machine. Override the generator on the other side to open the northern force field.
- 17Descend and go up the ramp through the force field. Cross the double Turbine set to the next ledge.
- 18Descend the ramp on the left, jump across a gap, and climb ramps to a ledge with a Network Uplink. Override it to create a bridge.
- 19Cross the tunnel and drop into the water below. Head through the tunnel to the core.
- 20You will fight a Snapmaw here. Defeat the two patrolling Watchers before rappelling down. Place Blast Wire traps strategically.
- 21After overriding the shield, a Ravager will appear. Use Tearblast Arrows to disarm its canon or dodge and place more traps. If successful, use the Ravager's canon against remaining machines.
- 22Once all machines are defeated, loot the room and override the core to complete the Cauldron. You will receive override codes for Tramplers, Shell-Walkers, Snapmaws, Longlegs, and Ravagers.
- 23Return topside and override the uplink to create a bridge, then cross it to fully complete the Cauldron.

- Take cover in the long grass in front of the next archer tower and wait for patrols.
