Preparations for the Departure

Prepare for your journey in GreedFall's Serene. Recruit companion Kurt, secure passage with the Nauts, and complete initial side quests before embarking.

Before you can set sail, you must complete several tasks in Serene. First, speak with Constantin in his chambers to understand his condition and the urgency of your mission. Next, you'll need to gather supplies and meet with various officials. This includes visiting the Coin Guard barracks to recruit your first companion, Kurt, and speaking with the Nauts to secure passage. You'll also have an opportunity to complete a few introductory side quests that teach you about combat and exploration. Ensure you equip any new gear you find and allocate your initial skill points before leaving Serene.
